How It All Started: The Story of Urban Bubbles

If you’ve ever wondered how Urban Bubbles came to life, let me tell you—it all started with a little curiosity, a lot of love, and some very sensitive skin.

Before bath bombs and bubble scoops became our thing, I was already dabbling in making wax melts. My cousin’s daughter absolutely loves bath bombs and bubble scoops and quickly became our favorite tester (she takes her role very seriously, by the way!). We were buying these products all the time, but every time my hands were in the water, my eczema would flare up, or I’d end up itchy.

That got me thinking: What’s in these things that’s causing such a reaction?

After reading the ingredients, I decided to pull my cousin into a little experiment: what if we tried making them ourselves—with better, simpler ingredients? Ingredients we knew wouldn’t irritate my eczema, her psoriasis, or her daughter’s sensitive skin.

From Experiment to Passion

We dove right in, experimenting with formulas that were gentle but still fun and effective. It wasn’t just about avoiding irritation—it was about creating something we’d feel good using for ourselves and our families.

With each batch (and plenty of feedback from our official tester), we got closer to something we loved: bath bombs, bubble scoops, and more that smelled amazing, worked beautifully, and didn’t leave us itchy or uncomfortable. That’s when we realized—we weren’t the only ones who could use products like this.
